SLACKTIVISM- relationg or involoving tech. that allows a smart card, mobile phone et. to contact wirelessly

TWERK- dance to popular music in a provocative manner involving thrusting hip and a low, squatting stance.

OTHER HIGH SCHOOL NEWSPAPERS

1. My favorite was "Raven report" from Sequoia High School because it's look nicely spread out and like a traditional newspaper and professional.

2. The west side story grabbed my attention because of the photo on the front, it's not a normal front cover but it looks simple yet creative.

3.  "empty dishes in december" because it was an interesting title and i wanted to know what empty dishes in remember really meant in the article.

4. there is only one article on the front but it's not a full article just a little paragraph

5. Most of them have a big title and an article with a picture and then on the side there is a long column of something and then theres usually a second article on the front at the bottom with another picture, but the first picture is bigger than the second because the first article the main one.

6. The other newspapers have a magazine look to it with just a cover and they try to make look all cool but putting one picture blown up as the cover and then the title of the newspaper them the title of the win article with a tiny summary of what's it about, and then at the very bottom in small print there's usually like what volume it is and year.

7. The professional looking newspapers with the title and two articles are the newspapers i saw from around the world and some from the newspapers at high school, so somewhat similar.

HEADLINE- a heading at the top of an article or page in a newspaper or magazine

SUBHEADLINES- a smaller, secondary headline that usually elaborates on the main headline above it.

LINES- an image comprised of solid black and white, no ray tones, as to grayscale images

BOXES- a ruled boarder around a story or art
 PHOTOS- the photos that go with the story

TEASER- an eye-catching graphic element, on page one or section fronts, that promotes an item inside;  also called a promo

FLAG- printed title of a newspaper on page one

FOLIOS- story that follows up on a theme in a news story

CAPTIONS- the writing under the photo to explain it

STORIES- the main story and other stories of a newspaper

BYLINES- on a newspaper or magazine article gives the date and the author of the article, placed between the headline and text of the article

JUMPS- when a story would begin on one page then continue on another page

STORY DIVIDERS- divvies the story in different sections

SCREENS- a pattern of tiny dots used to create gray areas; to screen a photo is to turn it into a halftone

INFOGRPAHICS- a visual image such as a chart or diagram used to represent information such as from the article

MASTHEAD/STAFF BOX- formal statement of a newspaper's name, officers, place of publication and other descriptive information, usually on editorial page

1. we should relate it to our eye or pupil like when it gets smaller and bigger like the lens 
2. the smaller the aperture the larger the F-stop, the larger the aperture the smaller the F-stop
3. It changes the focus on the background to the main object

SHORT ANSWER:
Man should be able to man and women should be able t marry women, every human on this earth is equal and has their own rights, just because they like same sex gender shouldn't put them in the spot and make them feel like aliens who can't marry their partner. If our president or any other government official was gay then we wouldn't have any problem with this law because it would be passed already, gays are no different then any other human being on this planet they should be able to marry whoever they would like.

AFRICA

1. what i saw where, animals who looked free and loved to roam. The animals where in no color except for black and white, but you could tell the patterns on their fur. Also the atmosphere they where in and how serious the animals looked.

3. it's my favorite because, you can see the scenery really well and the animals in their environment,  all the details to where they live you can see in this picture.

4. create depth- there's a foreground middle ground, background the animals are foreground and then the land is middle and the trees are background.

5. he uses a Pentax with 6711 and medium format with black and white film, without telephoto and zoom lenses, he uses the camera with only two fixed lenses

6. he likes to simply show the animals in the state being, before they are no longer, he believes every human and non-human are equal and that effects him every time he puts an animal in her camera lens.

CURRENT EVENT QUIZ 4.3

4. because there's armadillos, if an armadillo goes back it it's hole than the weather will be bad for a couple of weeks.
SHORT ANSWER:
1. I think people shouldn't be able able to carry a handgun just radnomly or thoughout their day because something bad could happen, it could go off but not mean to or someone could deop it and the gun could go off. I do think people should have guns in their car as protection or in their house but not carry one going on in the day.

my favorite commercial was the clash of clans with bryan mills doing his tag lines from taken because i thought it was adorable and super hilarious
