2. cat oysterman, left handed pitcher, she's an Olympian and played for the texas longhorns
3. oklahoma will start off the season as ranked number 5, TOP FIVE: Florida, Oregon, Alabama, LSU, Oklahoma
4.Oklahma Sooners have won the national championship before but LSU is hosting it this year on may 10th, but the season is still going on so it's too soon to tell if they go to playoffs, florida won last year against Alabama. when your stealing a base, your foot must be on the base by the time the pitcher has the ball, A pitcher must have part of each foot touching the pitching rubber before beginning to pitch the ball, A batting order should have the player's name, positions, and number on the list. This order must be followed for the entire length of the game. A lot of people think that softball is a gay sport for girls. Jennie Finch is legendary, she was born in La Mirada California, attended school at the University of Arizona and La Mirada High School, She played for USA olympics and Chicago Bandits. She set a record for 41 strike outs with cat ostermen in a single game.

magazines part II

The earlier magazines did not tend to use covers like we do know, their "cover" was the title and table of contents, but when they did use the cover they used something like a book but without word descriptions. Also they started to use small illustrations with other things on the new covers. 1890 is when they started to use actual overs with no words needed because the cover explained it all, the cover illustration had do with the main article in the magazine. Later on they started to used actual pictures of other people like portraits. Pictures married to type is where the writer uses a great cover line to catch the readers eye better then the art can. The cover lines are supposed to help with dialogue and with the pictures. The cover lines are now in front of the pictures and art, the pictures are in the background and the cover lines take the lead while it looks like art. The topics of the magazine are informed on the front with the cover lines.

MY FAVORITE COVER!

CRITIQUE- The emotion on her face shows that she's in her environment with the out going red dress and molding in it. The way she's hunched over and with her head up, to me shows thats what she was feeling at the moment, and to make the dress more dramatic. Just standing up or sitting straight up doesn't add the same dramatic pose as it does with being hunched over and head up with a smile. She looks very proper and formal but she's in her own environment. I love the dress but the color o the dress just seems so gaga its her and its original, it's communicating her feelings and what she's like, the lighting is what makes the color and dress pop out with her facial expression.
