HUNTINGTON STORY

On Wednesday, around 10 p.m, 53 year old Janice Jones who lives in Barstow, California in a motor home was eating pork chops when her dog knocked her 9 mm handgun off the table which shot her right through the leg. While the bullet went though Jones leg, it managed to go through the left side of her motor home, if the bullet it two more inches to the gas tank, it would of been a lot worse.
Jones was transported by ambulance to Huntington Beach Hospital, then was sent to Irvine Medical Center. No other information was given.

Jones' dog named Tombo (Pomeranian), was taken care of at Huntington Beach Animal Control, according to Janet Ngo who was one of the Animal Control officers had seen fresh cigarette burns on the dogs forehead. "It could have done with a little less abuse and a few more of those pork chops", Ngo said.  Jones' office was looking at filing an animal abuse charge over Jones', indicated Ngo.

California Highway Patrol press Tammy Rye, had noticed that Jones' plates on her car where expired, the district attorney's office was considering charging Jones' for the gun accident considering  that Jones' did not have a permit for the gun.
