The Big Day
Speeding down the road wiping the
sweat off his forehead, Connor desperately trying to get to Avery’s wedding.
Meanwhile Avery is in the bride’s dressing room in the chapel putting on the
dress of her dreams and smiling, but her thoughts make her look out with wet
window and think about Connor the man she really loves with all her heart.
Although her father sits in front of her with a misleading face, he checks his
watch and goes back to smiling at her, probably to make her think she can go
through with this.
Connor keeps racing down the slick
road while the raindrops hit the car like tiny beads. The car in front is
slowing down in the middle of the road for some reason and Connor is getting
terribly frustrate, he needs t get to Avery and stop that wedding. While he’s
almost there a train is blowing it’s whistle showing Connor that it’s coming,
Connor slams his fist into the stirring wheel and yells his anger off. Connor
does not want Avery to marry Jake at all.
Avery gets worried and worried by
the minute, while the clock mocks her on the wall, ticking. When its 6 a clock
the clock dings and dongs and the wedding bells chime, when she hears it she
realizes that its time to marry a guy she doesn’t even love. Her father shuts
the door and smiles really big, of course he’s smiling he wants this not me, my
father has always wanted me to marry Jake and not Connor, once Jake showed him
the houses his parents own, my dad couldn’t resist to make Jake fall in love
with me. All I want is to be happy with Connor but all my dad wants is Jake’s
money.
Connor is at the chapel racing up the
stairs and throws open the doors to the wedding, while Connors world crashes in
front of him by the site in front of him, Avery holding hands with Jake at the
alter exchanging vows that he wishes he was saying to Avery not Jake. Avery’s
father smirks at him from his seat, and from that he knew he’s lost everything,
he’s too late.
